GIANCARLO
Giancarlo Gusti, the grandfather of Grinders Coffee, brought what he loved most to his new home in Australia, his love and understanding for coffee.
Our delicious Giancarlo range is born from this, the desire to experience a little bit of Italy in every sip.
Giancarlo has been an integral part of the Grinders coffee offering since the early 2000’s, it’s currently stocked in more than 1,000 venues nation wide and enjoyed daily by thousands of happy Australians.
The taste profile is characterised by a dark sugar sweetness, a light to medium body and a zingy citrus acidity. The aroma is of maple syrup and the perfume of flowers, the flavours have a syrupy character and pronounced lemon-like acidity. The long, smooth aftertaste is of cream and butter, leaving the mouth with a rich velvety coating.

The aroma is of intense dried fruit, and the flavours have a nutty almond character and pronounced earthiness. The long, smooth aftertaste is
of dried fruit and a distinct earthy note. As an espresso, the result is a muted sweetness and heavy body. When combined with milk the earthy pungency of the Robusta coffee rises above the sweetness of the milk to produce a memorable, strong coffee experience.
